Meet Oscar-nominated filmmaker of 'Whiplash' this Tuesday Night

Cinémas Palme D'Or in Palm Desert presents an exclusive screening of the new film "Whiplash" and Q&A session by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Damien Chazelle. The screening takes place this Tuesday Night (February 10) after the 5:30 pm screening of the motion picture. Seating is first come, first serve, please arrive early for ticket availability. The evening's Q&A session will be moderated by Palm Spring's personality Bill Feingold.

Damien Chazelle is the writer and director of the breakout Indy hit "Whiplash," which has been nominated for five Academy Awards, including a nod for Chazelle for his finely tuned screenplay, J.K. Simmons for his tour de force performance in the film and even a Best Picture nod.

Chazelle is a star on the rise of young independent filmmakers and by attending this in-person, live Q&A you will be able to boast that you met him at the beginning of his career!

"Whiplash" is rated R for strong language including some sexual references and has a run-time of one hour and 47 minutes.
