Meet Oscar-nominated screenwriter of 'Foxcatcher' this Wednesday Night
Cinémas Palme D'Or in Palm Desert presents an exclusive screening of the new film "Foxcatcher" and a live, in-person Q&A session by Oscar-nominated screenwriter E. Max Frye. The event takes place this Wednesday Night (February 18) after the 6:30 pm screening of the motion picture. Seating is first come, first serve, please arrive early for ticket availability. The evening's Q&A session will be moderated by Palm Spring's personality Bill Feingold.
"Foxcatcher" is a dramatic telling of true live events that occurred with when tycoon John E. du Pont hired two Olympic wrestlers to train for the 1988 Seoul Olympics at his private wrestling camp named Foxcather. The film has an all-star cast including Steve Carell, Mark Ruffalo and Channing Tatum.
E. Max Frye is an established screenwriter based in New York City. His first script, produced in 1986, was the Melanie Griffith film "Something Wild."
He has gone on to write on episode of the Award-winning HBO series "Band of Brothers," and wrote and directed the comedy "Amos & Andrew," which starred Nicolas Cage and Samuel L. Jackson
"Foxcatcher" is rated R for some drug use and a scene of violence and has a run-time of two hour and nine minutes.
