Meet Actress Ali Landry & Director of 'Little Boy' this Friday Night
Cinémas Palme D'Or in Palm Desert presents an exclusive screening of the new film "Little Boy" and a live, in-person Q&A session with actress Ali Landry and her husband and director and co-writer of the film Alejandro Monteverde ("Bella"). The event takes place this Friday Evening (May 1) after the 6:30 pm screening of the motion picture. Seating is first come, first serve, please arrive early for ticket availability.
"Little Boy" is also produced by the power couple Roma Downey ("Touched by an Angel") and her husband Mark Burnett ("Survivor") and also stars Academy Award nominated actress Emily Watson ("Hilary and Jackie") and Jakob Salvati as Little Boy/Pepper Flynt Busbeet. The film is a faith-based story of an eight-year-old boy that has a powerful relationship with his father that is a soldier during World War II. He believes if he has enough faith, he can will his father back home.
Actress Ali Landry was crowned Miss USA in 1996 and rose to even higher fame after starring in a Doritos commercial during the 1998 Super Bowl telecast. In the same year she was named "50 Most Beautiful" in people magazine. Ali has found work in recurring roles on television, hosting jobs, music videos and also a few motion pictures. She starred in the film "Beautiful," that was directed by Sally Field in 2000 and "Bella," which was directed by her husband Alejandro Monteverde in the same year that they were married, 2006.
Director Alejandro Monteverde hails from Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He is a movie producer, director and writer. His films include "Bella," (2006), "Crescendo I" (2011) and most recently the faith based film "Little Boy." For "Little Boy," Monteverde served as co-screenwriter and director.
"Little Boy" is rated PG-13 for some mature thematic material and violence and has a run-time of one hour and 46 minutes.
