Filmmaker Bob Nelson first came to our attention when his first script "Nebraska" was made into a film by Oscar winning director Alexander Payne. Nelson was honored with an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay along with the five other Oscar nominations that "Nebraska" received. Nelson is returning to theaters, this time directing his own story titled "The Confirmation." The film tells the story of an eight year old boy named Anthony (Jaeden Lieberher) that is somewhat uneasy about spending the weekend with his alcoholic, down-on-his-luck carpenter dad Walt (Clive Owen) while his mom Bonnie and her new husband Kyle go to a Catholic retreat together.

"The Confirmation" is rated PG-13 for some mature thematic elements and has a run-time of 90 minutes.
