Meet director Gavin Hood of 'Eye in the Sky' this Saturday


Cinémas Palme D'Or in Palm Desert presents an exclusive screening of the new film "Eye in the Sky," with an in-person Q&A session with the director Gavin Hood ("RENDITION"). This special and exclusive event takes place this Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Cinémas Palme D'Or, located at the Westfield Plaza Mall in Palm Desert, California. This event begins at 6:45 pm with an exclusive screening of "Eye in the Sky," and is followed by a live Q&A, moderated by KNEWS Radio Personality Bill Feingold. Director Gavin Hood hails from South Africa. He is a filmmaker that is at home with science fiction flicks such as "Enders Game" or "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" as well with dramatic films including "Rendition" and his latest release of "Eye in the Sky." The films features an all-star cast including Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, Emmy-winning actor Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad") and has the last on-screen performance by Golden Globe-winning actor Alan Rickman (who passed away last January).

"Eye in the Sky" is a nail-biting drama that will keep you at the edge of your seat. It brings the subject of "collateral damage," to a very personal level and explores the new technologies of today's modern warfare along with all its social implications to the forefront.
