The Sony film had a humongous budge of $144 million and surely this was a disappointing debut for the studio. "The Secret Life of Pets," held on to first place for its second week at the box office. This animated film by Universal garnered $50.6 million this weekend and has earned a total of $203 million in just the U.S. and Canada.

Pixar's "Finding Dory," dropped from third to fourth place earning an additional $11 million. The film dropped one spot from fourth place last week, earning $7.5 million over this last weekend.

The debut of Bryan Cranston's new film "The Infiltrator," landed in eight place at the box office and had a domestic take of $5.3 million. This is a great debut considering the film opened in only 1600 screens domestically.
