‘La La Land,’ ‘Arrival’ and ‘Moonlight’ top 2016 Critics Choice Awards nominations

Damien Chazelle’s musical “La La Land,” tops the 2016 Critics Choice Awards with 12 nominations. This film is clearly an early favorite to have many wins throughout award season and has an excellent chance of sweeping the Oscars. Also getting attention from the Critics Choice Awards is the Amy Adam’s science fiction flick “Arrival” and the independent film “Moonlight.” Both films secured 10 nominations.

The Critics Choice Awards has made a huge change by moving their Award Show up over a month and will air on A&E on Sunday, December 11th – a day before the Golden Globe Award nominations are released.
