Screening this coming Friday, January 13 and Sunday, January 15 is the foreign language film from Chile, titled “You’ll Never Be Alone.” The film features a story inspired by the real-life murder of a gay youth in Chile. The film features the directorial debut of musician Alex Anwandter and stars Andrew Bargsted (in his film debut) and Chile’s most celebrated actor Sergio Hernández.
"You'll Never Be Alone," captures a vibrant Latin American world of LGBT struggle, masculine violence, and one family's search for forgiveness.
Attending the screenings with be filmmaker Alex Anwandter and actor Andrew Bargsted.
“You’ll Never Be Alone,” was the Special Jury Award winner at the 2016 Berlin Film Festival.
